Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 4 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU Float Pool position on a night shift schedule, requiring 2 years of ICU experience and an active NC or compact RN license. Details - Night shift position with hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM - Assignment is 13 weeks in duration - Staffing Pool ICU float pool setting within a hospital environment Requirements - Active NC or compact RN license required - Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required - Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted) - Current ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted) - NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for ICU RNs - No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start date - US SSN and date of birth required for consideration - At least one professional reference required - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position - Float pool role requiring flexibility across ICU units American Traveler Job ID P-680665.
