Position Summary UNC Health Pardee is offering an opportunity for a full-time board eligible/board certified Hematology Oncology Physician to join their well-established practice. This is an employed position with a strong referral base and excellent collaboration within the UNC Health System. Our team of specially trained clinical and support staff includes: - Board-certified providers: hematologist/oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons and other specialists - Board-certified oncology pharmacists, physicists, dosimetrists, nursing and radiation therapists - Board-certified surgeons, specializing in treating specific cancers - Cancer Care Navigators, who are registered nurses and other professionals, to support and guide you from your diagnosis through treatment and recovery and on to survivorship - Registered dietitians to ensure optimum nutrition during and after treatment, and to educate you about healthy eating to minimize risks Cancer Services: - Chemotherapy - Immunotherapy/Biotherapy - Infusion therapy - Blood transfusions - Hypofractionated Radiation Therapy - Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) - Radiation oncology - Surgical oncology - National clinical trials - Cancer screenings - 3D mammography, ultrasound, breast MRI and same-day biopsies with prompt results at the Elizabeth Reilly Breast Center - Patient navigation services - Nutrition services with registered dietitians - Palliative care - Support groups - Spiritual care - Speech therapy We are proud to offer you high-quality cancer care in a safe environment.
