Job Description:
As a Cath Lab Recovery Registered Nurse at HCA Healthcare, you
will be integral in providing post-procedural care and monitoring
for patients who have undergone catheterization procedures. Your
role is critical in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients
during the recovery phase, working closely within our dynamic
cardiovascular teams at our advanced facilities. You'll apply
specialized knowledge in cardiovascular nursing to assist patients
in their recovery, ensuring adherence to protocols for optimal
outcomes. Monitor patient vital signs and recovery progress
post-catheterization. Administer medications as prescribed and
monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families on
post-procedural care and lifestyle adjustments. Collaborate with
cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure
comprehensive care. Maintain detailed patient records and document
recovery progress. Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular and
post-surgical patient care. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills, capable of educating and comforting patients.
Proficiency in using medical software and electronic health
records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS/ACLS
certification required. Certification in cardiovascular nursing
(CRN) preferred.
