$1,000 Sign On Bonus Available Our Group Home Clients Need You ! We have an immediate opening McNairy Group Home located in Caldwell County, NC, to work with individuals with disabilities and truly make a difference in their lives. Group Homes can be a major step for empowering independence and building a community for those we serve. Our homes provide all of the support our residents need ? mental, physical and emotional. Each person has their own bedroom, with meals and activities provided in a common area. Residents share responsibilities and learn life skills including cooking and cleaning. Staff are present for residents 24/7 supporting them with their everyday needs. Weekdays will sleep overnight at the group home. All of our Group Homes are licensed by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation. Caregiver/Direct Support Staff needed for the following: Overnight position Friday 3-10:30pm Saturday 7a-10p Sunday 7a-10p Monday 6:30a-9a Responsibilities/Qualifications: Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on status of health and safety objectives Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities Ability to work independently in the community and/or the client?s home Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary, based on individual client needs Passion and experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) is preferred Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver?s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs CPR/First Aid Certification Training is provided by company Benefits: Flexible Schedules; Weekly Pay; Competitive Wages; Paid Onboarding Training; Scholarship Program; Eligibility of some benefits are based on hours worked include: Medical; Dental; Life Insurance; 401K At Abound Health we are proud to specialize in helping individuals with I/DD reach their fullest potential.
