Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Three nursing positions available in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) /n• Contractor replacement position /n• Work with advanced cardiac monitoring and telemetry equipment /n• Provide intermediate level care for patients requiring step-down services from intensive care /n• Monitor patients transitioning between critical care and general medical floors /n• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team /n• Must maintain current RN license and required certifications /n• Experience in progressive care or telemetry preferred /n• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders /n• Document patient care and communicate changes in patient condition /n/n Facility: /n This flagship healthcare facility is licensed for 815 beds and has received numerous prestigious recognitions including being named one of America's 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades from 2020-2023, representing the top 1% of hospitals nationally for clinical quality.
