Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - CVICU Float Pool /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week requirement /n• Alternating weekends required /n• Float to all areas as needed /n• ICU experience required /n• Must be skilled in titration of vesicant medications, pressors, sedation, and paralytics /n• Experience required with ventilators, tracheostomies, and telemetry interpretation /n• Must understand hemodynamics and PA catheter setup and interpretation /n• Work with 16-bed CICU unit maintaining 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratios (occasionally 3:1 depending on acuity) /n• Work exclusively with RNs (no unit secretaries or patient care technicians) /n• Use equipment including ventilators, telemetry, Baxter IV pumps, IABP, CRRT, Impella, and hypothermia devices /n• Document using Cerner system /n• Assist with procedures including cardioversion, central line insertion, EGD, bronchoscopy, chest tube insertions, pericardiocentesis, and thoracentesis /n• Advanced skills appreciated include IABP, Impella, and CRRT experience /n• Wear all navy or navy and white scrubs (no pullovers, hoodies, or green scrubs except when uniform is soiled) /n• CCRN certification recommended but not required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center with specialized cardiovascular intensive care capabilities.
