• Engage in a dynamic practice with a focus on both benign hematology (65%) and malignant oncology (35%).

Practice Setting and Clinical Scope

This opportunity is based in a free-standing cancer center, recognized for its commitment to advancing oncology care. The practice is outpatient-focused, while also providing inpatient coverage. Physicians will manage a mix of hematology and oncology cases, with an emphasis on delivering patient-centered care. The role requires active participation in a tumor board, as well as engaging in the management of complex oncology cases.

Schedule and Assignment Details

The position offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Weekend call duties are shared on a rotational basis, involving one weekend every 5th or 6th week, from Friday at 4:30 PM to Monday at 8:00 AM. This structure ensures ample time for personal pursuits and professional development.

Physicians will be integrated into a robust support network, working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The practice is well-supported with state-of-the-art technology, utilizing the EPIC EMR system for efficient patient management. Qualifications

• Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology.
• Active South Carolina medical license, BLS, and DEA certification are required.
• Ability to commit to at least two weeks per month.
• A clean background for emergency credentialing is essential.
• A recent Self-Query NPDB report is necessary at the time of presentation.
