Job Description:

Deerfield Ridge Assisted Living, a community of Navion Senior Living, located in Boone, NC is seeking cooks to assist in the preparation, oversight, and serving of meals. Our cooks are responsible for delivering top notch food service in a high-quality, cutting edge Community. The successful candidates will employ their culinary and managerial skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our residents satisfaction. Must be able to rotate to work some weekends and holidays.RequirementsMaintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become ServSafe certifiedHigh School diploma or GED acceptedA culinary apprenticeship or training is preferredOne (1) year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic dietsMust be 16 years or older.
