  Overview
  
  Schlotzsky's associates prepare customer orders, process transactions, clean the restaurant, and provide outstanding service to our guests.
  
  Essential Functions
  
  • Greet all customers and answer questions
  • Provide guests with exceptional service
  • Suggestive sell product according to company policies
  • Accurately prepare customer orders
  • Ring up and process customer transactions
  • Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues
  • Chop, dice, slice, mix, and otherwise prepare ingredients
  • Count and weigh product; calculate basic math involving decimals and fractions
  • Identify unsatisfactory food product and remove it from service
  • Follow mandatory logging procedures, including but not limited to time/temperature and inventory counts
  • Clean and maintain equipment, wares, and utensils according to safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain coolers, dry storage, kitchen, and prep areas in a clean and organized fashion
  • Maintain site appearance standards, including basic housekeeping tasks
  • Consistently adhere to all health and safety standards
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
  • Other duties as required Basic Qualifications & Physical Requirements
    
    • 14+ years of age; we adhere to FLSA guidelines. This may prohibit some applicants from engaging in potentially hazardous tasks until they reach qualifying age.
    • Authorized to work in the United States
    • Friendly demeanor
    • Ability to operate a touch-screen monitor and cash register
    • Accurately count money and make change
    • Excellent communication in English (hear, speak, read, & write)
    • Lift up to 55 lbs. and carry short distances
    • Stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours
    • Climb a stepstool, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, bend, and kneel to reach products or clean areas of the restaurant
    • Perform repetitive hand and arm motions
    • Read and complete a series of tasks
    • Withstand cold temperatures for short periods, such as when stocking freezers
    • Count and weigh product
    • Available weekends and holidays
