active outdoor recreation. JOB SUMMARY River’s End Restaurant is an
iconic, year-round dining destination for locals and visitors near
Bryson City, located along the Nantahala River. We are seeking a
reliable Line Cook to support our fast-paced kitchen by preparing
quality menu items, maintaining food safety standards, and
contributing to a clean, organized work environment. This role is
ideal for team-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a
high-energy restaurant setting. Responsibilities Prepare menu items
and daily specials efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ensure
food preparation meets quality standards and guest dietary requests
Stock, maintain, and organize the line and backup supplies Maintain
cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen Uphold food
quality, consistency, and safe food handling practices Support
teammates and assist other Food & Beverage staff as needed Assist
with dishwashing and other support tasks when necessary
Qualifications Knowledge of safe food handling and health code
standards Ability to maintain restaurant cleanliness and
organization Strong teamwork skills with the ability to take
direction and work independently Understanding of kitchen workflow
and restaurant operations Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Preferred Experience Previous
kitchen or restaurant experience preferred, but not required The
