Role SummaryJob Description:Responsible for providing general HR administration and support for the execution of human resources policies, procedures, and programs at the plant level with responsibility for maintaining confidential information. As an HR Coordinator, this position will perform basic employee relations' responsibilities with a high level of internal customer service and professionalism.Essential ResponsibilitiesGeneral HR Coordination

  • Manage LOA administration and record keeping
  • Process unemployment claims in a timely manner
  • Participate in coordination of company and employee events, including meetings, training, orientation etc.
  • Coordinate hourly performance reviews
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, changes and entry as needed. Assist employees with plan questions.
  • Assist with plant employee relations and communications as needed
  • Assist with other special projects assigned by the HR Director.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters.Payroll & Time-keeping Administration
    • Ensure the accurate processing of payroll on a weekly basis through diligent entering of hours and the double-checking of payroll reports for any errors before checks are cut
    • Generate and maintain reports for finance and accounting as needed
    • Research employee payroll-related inquires and issues; escalate as needed.
    • Assist employees/managers with ADP/Kronos.General Administrative Duties
      • Maintain personnel files; process and maintain personnel- related documentation including new hire, status change and termination paperwork; perform paper and system audits as necessary.
      • Assist in maintenance of Human Resource Information System (ADP/Kronos) records, ensures accuracy and integrity of information; compiles reports as requested.
      • Respond to requests for employment verifications.
      • Provide HR administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Requirements
        • Minimum of 2 years related Administrative or HR work experience with demonstrated commitment to quality
        • Familiarity with HR policies & procedures; General knowledge of employment law and practices
        • Skilled use of Microsoft Office applications, HRIS systems, and web based programs
        • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
        • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
        • Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and accuracy
        • Effective verbal and written communication skills
        • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
        • Experience in benefits administration, additional HR related experience a plus
        • Working and updated knowledge of employment & benefit laws, specifically ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and FMLA
        • Effective problem solving/resolution skills
        • Ability to research HR issues and communicate important information and concepts
        • Kronos Workforce Ready experience preferred
