Job Description:
Job Description Job Description We are looking for an organized
and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our team in
Travelers Rest, South Carolina. In this long-term contract role,
you will play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless production
scheduling, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
This position is within the manufacturing industry and requires a
proactive approach to supply chain coordination and logistics.
Responsibilities: • Generate and manage production orders,
including customer acknowledgments. • Plan and schedule orders
efficiently while handling change orders in alignment with system
protocols. • Collaborate with the production team to coordinate
customer production trials and communicate priorities to Customer
Service. • Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages, and notify
purchasing teams to address material needs. • Oversee material
releases to external warehouses and coordinate transfers between
facilities. • Maintain planning screens for new product
specifications and manage updates for existing item masters. •
Schedule and track export orders to ensure timely delivery and
compliance. • Coordinate the use and replacement of parts through
production work orders. • Undertake special projects related to
materials management and consignment inventory as needed. • Utilize
Excel and Infor systems effectively to streamline supply chain
operations. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain
planning, logistics, or related roles. • Strong proficiency in
supply chain management tools, including Excel and Infor systems. •
Background in supply chain logistics and global supply chain
coordination. • Ability to manage purchase requests and oversee
inventory processes. • Excellent organizational and communication
skills for cross-functional collaboration. • Analytical mindset to
identify and resolve inventory and production challenges. • Degree
in supply chain management or a related field preferred. •
Demonstrated ability to adapt to dynamic environments and
prioritize tasks effectively.
