Job Description:
Join Mennonite Central Committee, a renowned global nonprofit
organization, in our Printing Media division where we focus on
creating impactful printed materials for our various relief,
development, and peace initiatives. As a Printing Press Assistant,
you will play a crucial role in the physical production of
materials that support MCC's mission. This position offers the
opportunity to work directly with advanced printing machinery and
techniques in a supportive and mission-driven environment. Operate
and maintain printing presses and related equipment, ensuring
high-quality print production. Assist in the setup and calibration
of printing machinery for specific jobs. Monitor the quality of the
print material during the production process and make necessary
adjustments. Record production data and maintain machinery logs.
Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and
production goals. Adhere to safety standards and cleanwork
practices in the print shop environment. Strong attention to detail
and ability to work with mechanical equipment. Effective
communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow instructions
and execute tasks with precision. Basic troubleshooting and
problem-solving skills in machinery or print production. Medical
