Sr Managing Director Quality Risk Mgmt VAS - Position can be
located in any large Region JOB SUMMARY The purpose of this
position is to lead the CBRE Quality and Risk Management (QRM) team
facilitating the company QRM policies and objectives. This role
manages the creation, revision, and enforcement of all aspects of
the VAS QRM policies and procedures and ensures the integration and
ongoing oversight aspects required by those QRM policies are
appropriately executed by the CBRE QRM staff. This position
interfaces with Divisional leadership to support routine quality
assurance and risk management. This role manages the staff that is
responsible for the review of identified appraisal reports as well
as provide risk mitigation guidance to the divisions. This role is
responsible for the delivery of all quality and risk management
deliverables for the VAS line of business. This position supports
change, event & root cause analysis processes through review and/or
approval actions. This role ensures all CBRE employees are
qualified for the work they are performing. Lastly, this position
is responsible for ensuring all master service agreements are
executed per VAS guidelines. Supports and leads business
Design and maintain a national QRM process for training,
continuing education, internal report review protocol and
Lead the Risk Assessment Committee.
Assemble and manage a dedicated QRM team.
Analyze and define a profile for the highest risk
Include risk ranking into the QRM training and protocol.
Identify the volume of reports that currently meet the high-risk
profile and assemble additional
QRM team members to facilitate the review of these assignments
as well as development assignments, in addition to the
responsibilities previously described.
Assist managers and appraisers in identifying and mitigating
risk when accepting assignments for appraisal services.
Create and maintain the approved reviewer list.
Continuously analyze the QRM operation for efficiencies. Once
the system is in place and efficiencies are gained, analyze the
operation to determine the range of cost per review and reports to
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree
Master’s degree preferred
10 years minimum of experience.
Appraisal review experience and deep knowledge of
Must have General State Certification/License and MAI
AI-GRS designation preferred.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and
Ability to calculate complex figures.
Ability to forecast and prepare budgets.
Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of
options in complex situations.
Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with
proven experience in developing strategic solutions.
Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that
have a direct impact on the company.
