Click on the links at the top of this page or go to: JOB DESCRIPTION:Our Manager Maintenance and Housekeepingis responsible for the repair, maintenance, and cleaning of the regional operation center along with repair and maintenance at the area retail stores and career centers. This position manages the daily activities of the facilities and housekeeping staff and works with the larger site management team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all locations.The Manager Maintenance and Housekeepingwill be responsible for the following duties:Prioritizing maintenance requests based on supervisor's recommendation and as necessary within those recommendations based on urgency Collaborating with other members of management team with regards to specific regulatory/ compliance requirements related to new programs.Operating and training personnel on forklifts, material handling equipment and man-lift platforms for the operations activities and repair work required to maintain all facilities.Maintaining records for facility services, to include maintenance schedules, expenses, information regarding providers and suppliers, and records of dates and work performed.Performing basic repair work in most of the required fields (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) independently.Soliciting bids and working with contractors for Asheville area to ensure appropriate maintenance of grounds, landscaping and interior of facilities.VALID NC Driver License REQUIRED for local travel.EDUCATION: Associates Degree in facilities maintenance or equivalent is preferred. Candidates with significant work experience related to facilities maintenance and /or building maintenance trade skills will also be considered.EXPERIENCE:Supervisory experience strongly preferred. Maintenance (carpentry/ plumbing/ basic electrical) and Housekeeping. HVAC and strong electrical experience (120- 480V) are preferred. Forklift and powered man-lift experience preferred.Eoe m/f/vets/disability
