Massage therapist is responsible for greeting High Hampton
guests in the Spa, making them comfortable, and providing them with
5 star massages and/or body treatments. The ultimate purpose is to
provide relaxation and restoration to our guests. Must work with
and aid other team members in spa operations to ensure a 5 star
experience for the guest.
Must have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

- Prepares room and tools necessary for scheduled treatments
- Ensures treatment room and areas are clean and sanitized using
approved sanitizing procedures
- Restocks treatment products in treatment areas
- Removes soiled laundry
- Brings in clean laundry
- Assists in opening and closing duties
- Transports guests
- Attends the front desk if the coordinator needs to briefly step
- Performs a variety of massage modalities including deep tissue
and hot stone massage
- Performs variety of body treatments
- Trains on new procedures
- Performs tasks deemed necessary by manager to keep spa clean,
stocked, and operating smoothly
Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
To perform the essential functions of this position regular and
consistent attendance is required.
Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and
interact with our guests.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
NC State License required and required continuing education
550 + hours of education required
6 months as a practicing Licensed Massage Therapist
Must have excellent verbal communication skills
Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers
and team members
Basic knowledge and understanding of math
Be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job
knowledge and awareness of company goals
Be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cart
Be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to perform multiple services during shift
1,400 acres of High Hampton property
Must be able to work in a calm and quiet spa setting
