Job Description:
An employee in this class is responsible for the transportation
of participants who utilize WCCA programs like medical, employment,
meal-site, and shopping, as well as other inter-agency programs as
assigned. Work is performed under direct supervision. Annual
performance reviews evaluate punctuality, accurate submission of
records, safety and the general feedback of passengers/clients. High School Diploma/GED Must possess valid North Carolina driver’s license Minimum of 2 years driving experience Skilled in safe driving habits and operation of multi-purpose
vehicles Working knowledge of two-way radio systems Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other
employees, and with staff of local resource agencies Must be able to read and write, complete inspection, mileage and
time sheet Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, secure wheelchairs, and
aid passengers as needed Must have basic computer knowledge
