Sets day-to-day activities within assigned manufacturing cell(s) that support attainment of safety, quality, delivery and cost goals. Monitors performance and drives productivity and problem solving through our Lean Management system. Develops Team Leads and operators through effective coaching, communication and training. Drives Lean implementation at the cell level in alignment with the Collins ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) operating system.Job Responsibilities* Responsible for cell level manufacturing performance, including safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics. Ensure the practices and procedures are followed by direct reports.

* Achieve target performance levels through disciplined execution of the daily Lean Management System, including:* Tiered accountability meetings

* Visual Management Systems

* Leader Standard Work

* Demonstrate clear focus on accountability to daily results, rapid identification of root cause and effective implementation of corrective actions.

* Drive development of a strong problem-solving culture, through application of practical problem-solving tools (8-D, 5-whys, Kata, A3, etc.) and coaching behaviors.

* Champion safety, quality improvement, and ACE programs within the manufacturing cell(s).

* Support implementation and standardization of best practices through standard work aligned with the TWI model. This includes, but is not limited to, job instructions, job breakdown sheets, pre and post-flight checklists, multi-cycle analysis, layered audits, and others as appropriate.

* Coordinate activities for materials and logistics problem resolution of a cell to ensure availability of materials and smooth operations.

* Partner with planning to develop a schedule that meets cell production requirements.

* Provide leadership coaching and development for production team leads.

* Develop and execute a clear training plan in alignment with the needs of the manufacturing cell and business.

* Ensure timely execution of manufacturing transactions, including time approval, in Epicor ERP system to ensure data accuracy. Work with other areas to continuously improve data integrity.

Basic Qualifications* Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling,prioritizing, coaching and process execution.Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience anda minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specializedknowledge of technical or operational practices.Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degreein Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and aminimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Preferred Qualifications* Ability to work 1st shift hours (7am-3:30pm)

* Prior Supervisory experience preferred
