Job Description Machine Operator --- 1st Shift --- Asheville -
$17.00/hr. PrideStaff is recruiting for several Machine Operators
for 1st Shift for a manufacturing company located in Asheville .
Job Summary: Set up, run, and maintain machine for packaging
finished goods. Duties and Responsibilities: Set up machine: clean,
lubricate, inspect for mechanical problems, add paper, film, ink,
etc. as needed. Run the machine: check for problems and make
necessary adjustments or repairs. Change printing plates, ink, etc.
when changing products to be packaged. Adhere to safety standards
when running or repairing machine. Be sure machine and air
compressor are turned off at end of day. Qualifications and
Requirements: Minimum of one (1) year machine operator experience.
Able to recognize mechanical problems, make repairs, and order
parts. Knowledge of proper use of tools. Understand safety issues
in relation to machine operation and maintenance. Must be able to
lift up to 50 lbs. Able to stand for long periods of time. Able to
use hand cart or pallet jack. Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday -
7:00 am to 5:30 pm
