member of the Bell Piney Flats Quality department, you will provide
Quality support for the Aircraft Services department. This position
will be primarily responsible for aircraft records research, work
scope definition, and aircraft return to service documentation.
Responsibilities: Research aircraft records to ensure compliance
with FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Alert Service
Bulletins, Technical Bulletins, and maintenance status Determine
work scope for relevant aircraft from records research and
coordinate with relevant parties in the Aircraft Services
department Create and prepare aircraft records packages in
accordance with (IAW) all applicable FAA regulations Prepare and
complete return to service documentation Create and update Aircraft
status reports and FAA documentation Act as the primary contact for
all aircraft records and paperwork on assigned projects Provide key
support to functional groups by staying up to date on the status of
all assigned projects and schedules Maintain specialized and
comprehensive records and filing IAW repair station requirements
Act as liaison between the office personnel and the Aircraft
Services Department on Quality projects Prepare air worthiness
certificates and airworthiness packages for export Maintain and
develop full knowledge of current industry practices within
department. Interact with internal personnel and external
vendors/customers in a positive and professional manner Pursue
becoming a MMUM/ODA Unit Member Education: High school diploma/GED
or equivalent Requirements: Airframe license 6+ years' experience
working with aircraft records with a general knowledge of Federal
Aviation Regulations (FARs), Part 145 repair station procedures,
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Form 337, aircraft logbook
entries, status reports, and weight and balance procedures General
computer skills (Microsoft Office) Attention to detail Excellent
communication skills and project management abilities Familiarity
with Visual, ERP/SAP, etc. Ability to consistently follow
procedures and guidelines Preferred: Associate's degree in relavent
field Experience with Bell Aircraft records Powerplant license
Inspection Authorization (IA) Physical Requirements: Must be able
