Job Description:
Description: The position provides structured, strength-based
interventions to parents and caregivers of youth who have
emotional, behavioral or mental health challenges. Educate and
empower parents and caregivers about how to effectively navigate
the child serving systems. Educate families about the existence of
informal/community resources available to them. Connect families to
community services, attend Family and Child Family Team meetings
with families, support them in advocating for their needs. Be
willing to complete Certified Peer Support program. Requirements:
Position requires a High School Diploma/GED Position is a
self-identified caregiver that has raised or is currently raising a
youth who has/had emotional behavioral or mental health challenges.
Must have experience in navigating any of the child and
family-serving systems to include DSS, DJJ or DHSS, or work with
