Johnson Service Group is assisting one of our key manufacturing clients with a direct hire, Process Technician in Simpsonville, SC. The incumbent will join a dynamic team, have growth opportunities, and be well poised to contribute to organizational restructuring. PM Shift: 6pm - 6am with multiple days on and off. Our client offers a fantastic work/life balance with 15 days off per month. Duties --- Operate, troubleshoot, and train others in the use of secondary packaging/assembly fixtures, equipment and tools --- Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of hot runner systems, insulated runners, and standard sprue molds --- Communicate the information provided within the job packet pertaining to specification sheet, standard routing, B.O.M.'s, scrap reports and quality requirements --- Monitor and maintain standard molding cycles and part quality --- Operate the operator interface 'CRT' screen on computer controlled presses, including all screens required to control the process --- Identify all resins used in molding operation including regrind and the associated usage percentage --- Must be able to completely restart a press that has been cycled within a reasonable amount of time; having acceptable First Article parts and press running at standard cycle Background --- 2-5 years experience as a process tech in injection molding or similar process --- Knowledge of the operating functions of a structural foam molding press --- Follow departmental documentation procedures Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
