Job Responsibilities:

•

• Calibrates instruments to meet established conformance standards. Tests instrument accuracy and makes adjustments as necessary. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Requires 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
  
  
  Special Considerations:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions. Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal.
    
    
    Required Skills:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Provides advanced technical/dimensional and linear equipment repair work, troubleshooting, modifying, testing, calibrating, adjusting, repairing, installing equipment and monitoring devices.
      
    • U.S. Citizenship Status required due to client requirement.
      
    • Proficient using Client technology, including Excel
      
      
      Required Education:
      
      
      • 
        
      • AS degree or applicable Technical training and certifications.
        
        
        Required Years of Experience:
        
        
        • 
          
        • 4+ years of directly related experience.
          
          
          Desired Skills:
          
          
          • 
            
          • IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track and Met/Cal experience a plus.
            
          • Previous customer service experience is a plus
            
          • Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
            
            
            Desired Education:
            
            
            • 
              
            • Completion of formal training from a military, PMEL, TMDE or calibration school.
              
              
              Desired Years of Experience
              
              
              • 
                
              • 7+ years of experience in metrology/calibration lab
