Job DescriptionSeeking dynamic, experienced, naturally energetic and personable, customer service oriented person to fill our front desk agent position. This position will cover mostly 2nd shift. Must have weekend availability.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES* Greet and register guests in welcoming, warm manner* Process incoming reservation requests (in person, phone and email)* Answer all calls and respond to guest questions in a friendly and knowledgeable manner* Coordinate guest room status with hotel housekeeping staff promptly.* Address maintenance issues with resources available* Maintain cleanliness of lobby and front desk area* Maintaining and replenishing self serve continental breakfast if working during breakfast hours* Be present at front desk at all times unless addressing a maintenance, safety or customer need* Promote sales and hotel services* Process payments, balance register, complete night audit paperwork* Complete all tasks assigned by Manager on Duty* Communicate guest issues to Manager on Duty promptly* Maintaining safety and security of hotel and guests, watching for trespassers/unregistered guests.* Moderate computer knowledge required for operation of windows based hotel program (will train on job) and email
