Job Description:

At Hood Container Corporation we are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Asheville plant. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, entering, and verifying orders in the computer system, assisting external and internal customers, and maintaining positive work relationships. The Customer Service Representative is an hourly role reporting to the Customer Service Manager. How You Will Contribute:Process customer orders directly from customers or Sales Representatives.Utilize HRMS computer software to provide order estimates, enter orders, maintain order back log, and customer product inventory.Oversee and resolve customer inquiries, questions, and complaints as well as provide timely follow-up.Maintain positive customer, vendor, and co-worker relationships.Assist all departments in the successful completion of customer orders.Utilize Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to communicate order status and relay messages. What it Takes:High school diploma or general education degree (GED).1-3 years of experience preferred.Experience with Amtech preferred.Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office software.Communicates clearly and persuasively through written and verbal methods.Team player treating people with respect and integrity from all levels and backgrounds.Focuses on solving conflict by taking responsibility for mistakes and own actions.Support organization's goals, values, and code of ethics.Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
