Job Description:
CarMax, the nation's largest retailer of used vehicles, is
seeking a dedicated Customer Specialist to enhance our customer
service experience in the automotive industry. As a Customer
Specialist, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers
through the car buying process with transparency and integrity. Our
commitment to providing exceptional service is what sets CarMax
apart, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about
delivering this to our customers each day. Greet and guide
customers through the CarMax sales process by understanding their
needs and preferences. Explain vehicle features and benefits during
the walk-around process to enhance customer decision-making.
Conduct business with the highest ethical standards, and assist in
ensuring compliance with CarMax policies and procedures. Respond to
customer inquiries both in-person and over digital platforms,
providing timely and accurate information. Process payments,
financing documents, and complete sales transactions while
maintaining confidentiality of customer information. Collaborate
with Sales, Service, and Finance departments to ensure seamless
customer experience. Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure
satisfaction and encourage future business. Strong interpersonal
and communication skills Ability to adapt to various customer types
and scenarios Knowledge of automotive sales processes, financing
and basic vehicle features Proficiency with CRM software and
digital communication tools Strong organizational and multitasking
abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a
fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Automotive Sales Certification
(optional) Training in customer service or relational sales
techniques is a plus.
