Cardiovascular Progressive Care Nurse Location Asheville, NC
Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule
6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Job Description The Cardiovascular Progressive
Care unit focuses on post-operative care for patients undergoing
cardiovascular and vascular surgeries. The ideal candidate will
provide high-quality nursing care and support to a diverse patient
population with complex medical needs. Responsibilities Manage and
care for patients recovering from cardiovascular surgeries. Monitor
vital signs and administer medications as per protocols. Implement
individualized patient care plans based on assessments. Collaborate
with the healthcare team to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families on post-operative care and health
management. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must
have stepdown and telemetry experience. Preferred: Recent
experience with cardiovascular and vascular surgery patients. ACLS
