Job Description:
The Registered Nurse 1 role involves assessing, planning,
implementing, and evaluating patient care across all ages to
achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities include conducting age-specific assessments,
collaborating with the healthcare team and families to develop and
adjust interdisciplinary care plans, and accurately documenting
treatments and medications using electronic systems.
Patient and family education, advocacy, and psychosocial support
are key components of the role.
Requirements include a nursing degree from an accredited program,
Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, CPR certification, and
proficiency with electronic medical records.
The position is full-time, day shift, based in the Pediatric
Endocrinology department, with a Monday-----"Friday schedule.
